Bruce Kinlin Principal, AIA

Bruce has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Yale University where he was the recipient of the George Nelson Award and Scholarship. He was a teaching fellow for Yale’s undergraduate Architecture and Art History departments.

He is involved in the design and development of each project. He believes that every project is a one of a kind collaboration between the client and Kinlin Rutherfurd. With Lily, he works to ensure that each project’s specific and unique objectives are understood and achieved. His efforts then refine resolved solutions as architectural designs that appeal to clients’ higher sensitivities, sensibilities, and tastes.

Earlier in his career, Bruce was a Project Architect for Paul Rudolph where he worked on all phases of design and project management on projects in East Hampton and Mamaroneck New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He also earned a Bachelor of Architecture with Highest Honors from Pratt Institute where he received the American Institute of Architects Award for excellence. He is a graduate of Kenyon College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in Fine Art and was awarded the Margaret E. Leslie award for drawing.
