Gramercy Park East

The architect James Riely Gordon’s building at 36 Gramercy Park East opened in 1906. Clad with an intricate white terra-cotta exterior with ornate Gothic arches, shields, and gargoyles, the building flanks the east side of Manhattan’s beautiful and private Gramercy Park. Within it, Kinlin Rutherfurd created a new modern home overlooking the park.
